Biography
Recently appointed as Executive Director of Safety for Safer Care Victoria. Previous experience in National-level system design and improvement including New Zealand, NHS Wales and in England. Formerly an Executive Clinical leader in NZ and Wales. In the UK, employed on secondment to a number of UK Government Agencies as an expert in Clinical Governance, Quality Improvement and Patient Safety including the Commission for Healthcare Improvement, Healthcare Inspectorate Wales, Health Care Commission, Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education and the Health and Care Professions Council. Research career progressed from large scale epidemiological studies to developing novel physiological tests. For the past twenty two years, developing and implementing frameworks to support clinicians to build better relationships with patients.
