Randomised Coffee Trials (RCTs)

We are running monthly Randomised Coffee Trials (RCTs) with the Q community and invite all members to join.

An update on RCTs

At the end of February 2023, we will be pausing our Randomised Coffee Trials (RCTs). If you currently take part in RCTs your February match will be the last one for now. This is because the platform we have been using to run RCTs will be closing down at the end of February 2023.

While we take some time to review our RCT offer, you can find new people to connect and collaborate on the Q website. Browse the member directory or join a new Special Interest Group.

How does it work?

On the first of each month, you will be sent the name of another randomly chosen member. Each pair can arrange a brief informal meet-up at a time that suits both parties. It can be a phone call, virtual call or even a coffee in person.

RCTs are an opportunity for Q members to meet a new member each month and exchange ideas and inspiration in an informal setting. If scheduling means that you can’t meet that month, you can choose any time that works for you both.

Hear from Q’s Community Manager, Matthew Mezey, on the benefits of taking part in RCTs and why he thinks you’ll enjoy the ‘organised serendipity’.

The 30-minute call I had with a Nurse from Morecombe was one of the most inspiring conversations I’ve had throughout my career – really inspiring stuff.

This section of the page is for Q members only. If you are already a member please log in, and if not, find out more about joining Q.
