I am sure this is something we can all identify with and one of the areas I am keen to explore when we get together. With so many competing priorities how do we find the time to do what needs to be done while still finding time to invest in…Read more

We know the value of networking and weaving between networks, many of us may also recognise the stress that can often go along with what appears to be a network, but is really a meeting. Stress as perhaps people have been busy rushing from one place to another, busy as their to do list keeps getting bigger, busy as there just doesn’t seem enough…Read more

Great news all, the application to the Supporting Q connections fund was successful. There are just some logistics to sort out then I am hoping we can arrange a time to meet, share ideas and take forward adopting and adapting the network weavers handbook as a resource we can all use in supporting ourselves and our networks.
I am also keen to see…Read more

Hi Kristin
Thank you for your kind words. Think one of key factors in peer support is feeling safe and trust and being able to handle differences of opinion. There are a series of learning tools on our site https://www.cope-scotland.org/courses-off/safe-spaces-workshop this related more to peer led and informal groups perhaps where people had a…Read more

Seems like I find myself holding those truths in numerous places these days. A sign of the conditions and need for skillful weavers, eh? Who is up for a tea time with me and…Read more

Networking is how we…Read more

Hi All
one of the themes which came from exploring ideas about networking was peer support. Peer support can take so many forms. The following offer some ideas around setting up a peer support group https://www.cope-scotland.org/wellbeing-tips/entry/in-many-settings-peer-support-matters Is there interest in exploring how we do this around…Read more

@hilda-campbell-mbe@davidelder@davidelderWow I had to forward those resources on to my LinkedIn network so more people can see the beautiful and radically useful materials produced by COPE-Scotland. Lastly week I watched a peer support group that erred on too little structure fall apart. it is such an art and science. I would like to connect with…Read more
