Biography
I have a broad and varied experience within Health and Social Care in Scotland. I am an Occupational Therapist by background but my recent roles have been in Social Care Management over the last 12 years or so. I am currently working as an Improvement Advisor for the Care Inspectorate on the Care About Physical Activity: Supporting People's Wellbeing Programme, focussed on helping adults and older people stay active, connected and engaged with things that matter to them! We are helping and encouraging residential and non-residential care services to add more fun, meaning, purpose, connections and movement to the lives of people experiencing care. I have always been improvement focused but my role, QI training and helping services with practical application in improvement projects throughout Scotland, has been an energising journey into the power of Quality improvement in enhancing outcomes.
