Join us for our Q Liberating Structures meet-up in March (7th) – we’ll be trying out two different versions of ‘Wild Tea’, which is often used as a great icebreaker in meetings.
See how to use it – and add it to your repertoire.
Or just enjoy meeting a great group of improvers who enjoy making their meetings more engaging and creative, with…Read more -

Friday feel good tip
In days of land mail, did we go into work on our days off, holidays, weekends, when off unwell to see if there were any letters for us we needed to attend to? So why is it we check email on days off, weekends, hols even when off sick ? https://cope-scotland.org/wellbeing-tips/entry/simple-tips-to-help-emails-work-for-you …Read more

This is so true Hilda, humanity has become a slave to e-mails, not helped by elusion that they make work quicker, when in reality a chat resolves the ping pong e-mailing. This is more often than not for virtuous intentions and good causes but it becomes a never ending cycle. Its an entrenched behavior and I’m not sure what the answer is. Sadly…Read more

I love what you said ”it starts with a conversation though and not an e-mail” it makes me reflect, in this world of ‘improved communication’ if it is working so well, why do so many of us feel disconnected?? thanks for sharing

Hi all!
I lead on the design and delivery of a QI training and development programme locally – our “QI Fellowship Programme” which is open to up to 6 local health and social care professionals annually. We have a great “core QI” training package procured from a local improvement partner on Improvement Science and Measurement for Improvement, but…Read more

Hello Nadine
Thanks for joining the SIG also for your great offer, it really makes sense. I wonder are you also linked to Hexitime https://hexitime.com/
”Hexitime. The digital marketplace where users trade expertise with a time currency. Supporting business effectiveness through timely knowledge sharing and collaboration”

Hi Hilda,
Many thanks for your reply. I am registered on Hexitime, but it feels like that is more of a personal skills exchange platform. That’s something I’m very happy to do, but in his instance I was thinking more of the group training sessions that we put on. We will be doing these anyway and could easily accommodate a few additional…Read more

Hi Nadine
There was a part of me when I suggested Hexitime was thinking, it is usually more one to one, but I think there is potential in there (its how to create that) for wider skills share. What you are suggesting makes sense, there are so many fellowship programmes in different parts of the UK and Ireland finding a way to do the training…Read more

Hi Hilda,
Of course, please do share to any networks you think may be interested. We often work in silos and re-invent the wheel a little in healthcare, so any traction on the notion of how we can better share our knowledge and skills would be most welcomed!
Kind regards
Nadine

In addition to what Hilda already replied (honestly, she’s the best person to point you to the right direction), lemme point out that I believe the Coaching Improvement SIG (link below) has a training program and they might be interested in the…Read more
