I left a fulltime role in NHS after a long career working in frontline services, and at Regional and National level.  My most recent position was as Director of Innovation and Digital Health at NHS England, leading a team supporting the national implementation of technology to enable people to be cared for at home who would otherwise need to be in hospital.

My major interest is transformation enabled by technology and I try to be a strong advocate for the alignment of improvement science and technology.

I'm now working as an independent transformation consultant, with a continuing focus on supporting technology enabled improvement within the health and care system.
