Biography
I have the pleasure and pride to lead the Legal Services Department at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board.
My expertise covers governance, legal services, patient safety, patient experience, clinical effectiveness, regulatory compliance, healthcare quality assurance, risk management, emergency planning and business continuity, occupational health and safety and environmental management.
I am a Chartered Safety and Health Professional holding Chartered Membership of the Institution of Occupational Safety & Health (CMIOSH), a Fellow of the Royal Society of Public Health (FRSPH), a Practitioner Member of the Chartered Quality Institute (PCQI), a Member of the Institute of Health and Social Care Management (MIHSCM), a Practitioner Member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (PIEMA) and I am completing the CILEX Professional Qualification (CPQ) with the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEX). My qualifications include an Masters Degree in healthcare leadership, a Postgraduate Diploma in safety and risk management, a Diploma in health emergency planning and various professional qualifications in safety and training.
