Biography
I trained and worked as a Registered Nurse (Adult) in the Queen Alexandra Royal Naval Nursing Service between 1993-2000. Serving at RNH Haslar, Derriford Hospital and RNH Gibraltar.
I have since worked for the Ministry of Defence, Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust and Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust in a range of clinical, nursing, transformation and improvement roles - including working at Board level for 2 years.
I am a Florence Nightingale Foundation Senior Leader Scholar (2000) and during my scholarship, studied improvement microsystems work in Jonkoping, Sweden.
I started my role in HIOW ICB in January 2003 as the Deputy Chief Nurse for Improvement, Safety and Transformation.
