I am the End of Life Care Facilitator at University Hospitals of North Midlands Trust. I have worked at the Trust for a number of years and my background is in acute critical care and working alongside organ donation. I have a passion for delivering excellent end of life care and feel it is a vital skills every health professional should have and make a priority. I am also a Macmillan Specialist Palliative Care nurse which I thoroughly enjoy. Having a clinical element to my role helps to keep my knowledge and skills up to date, and I get to work closely with all members of the multidisciplinary team.
