Contrary to popular belief, being happy at work is a ‘must do’, not a ‘like to have’.
Evidence tells us that not having joy in work is detrimental to the health of NHS staff and can harm patient care.
In this session our guest speaker Julia Wood, convenor of the Improving Joy in work Special Interest Group (SIG), shared:
- Why joy in work is important.
- The methodologies developed by the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) and 15s30m which can be used to increase joy in the workplace.
- The first steps you can take to increase joy for you and the people you work with.
