How to build and lead effective networks and communities

Looking to develop your community or network leadership skills? Join our upcoming series to hear from expert speakers on different tools and approaches.

As Margie Godfrey from the Flow Coaching Academy once said, quality improvement is 80% relational and 20% technical. Long-lasting health care improvement, on a system level, is built on networks, communities and relationships.

This series will provide you with the models, tools and understanding to enable you to effectively bring people together and scale your improvement work. Through a series of four workshops, we will be exploring the different ways you can build and lead collaborative spaces, and the synergies and connections between them.

In each workshop, we’ll be joined by expert speakers, who will share their learning and insights to support you on your journey of developing the skills to build and lead a network or community. You’ll leave feeling energised and able to create long lasting change in your communities and beyond.

The four workshops will focus on helping you understand how to:

  • build and lead online communities, with Richard Millington
  • develop a Community of Practice, with Myron Rogers and Cleo Butterworth
  • become an effective Network Weaver, with Hilda Campbell and Maureen Flynn
  • and use Systems Convening to transform your system, with Bev and Etienne Wenger-Traynor.

You can attend any or all of them, depending on your needs and the skills you’d like to develop.
