Started out in improvement in the Modernisation Agency critical care improvement programme in North Trent. Working in Sheffield Teaching Hospitals I was in the first cohort of the Dartmouth Microsystem Coaching Academy where I experienced a shift in being able to engage clinical teams in improvement and give them ownership and good help to make the change. I have worked with the Flow Coaching Academy our pathway improvement programme for the last 5 years supporting curriculum development and coach support as well as teaching on the course.  I co coach an active fortnightly Sepsis Big Room with an Acute Physician. The Big Room has been active since 2018 and met throughout the pandemic.
