- Are you interested in learning more about network weaving?
- Are you looking to grow your network and make new connections?
- Would you value exploring challenges and solutions to common network issues with peers in a spirit of trust and collaboration?
Following the success of the first action learning and collaboration around networking weaving session we decided to run another. People found using the tool Peer Assist really helpful, so we created a space to run that again.
Peer Assist is taken from the work of June Holley and we are grateful to June for sharing these resources.
The slides from the first session can be found in the Nurturing and Weaving Networks Special Interest Group documents.
People shared the value in offering monthly practice sessions on using the Network Weaving tools, and this is the first of these. Each month we shall explore a different tool as reflected by the ideas of those who attend. Thank you to everyone who came along, your participation is what made this a success. This is just some of the feedback from the last session:
‘’ It was great to practice and connect with others’’
‘’Empowering’’
‘’I think peer assist is really useful and an enabling approach’’
‘’I think peer assist is an opportunity for collective reflection and learning’’
‘’A great way to create focus and to pause and listen’’
‘’ I think that Peer Assist is a great way to think round a problem and also connect with others’’
While we may work in different settings, we may find we are facing similar challenges, and we may find this cross fertilisation of ideas helpful in whatever Quality Improvement goals we or our organisations are pursuing at present.
