Was part of a very challenging conversation yesterday in our trust about decolonising the mental health agenda. I think it has longer-term implications for how we consider healthcare and is part of understanding a sustainable future. I found the Q session on Quality Management Systems yesterday really helpful. I’m wondering if anyone else would like a reflection session so that we can make sense of what it means for us? I’m thinking an hour, perhaps over lunch, via Teams.

I agree, it’s an incredible amount of plastic and waste, and the urgency of response has not allowed procurement to address this, or innovation in the field. I think that the new UKHSA has to prioritise this as we hopefully move to stability, along with the AHSNs supporting the innovation side. I’m at DHSC T&T at the moment so I can ask the…Read more

Hello Huw. I did some work last year with a Trust on this so looked a quite a few. It really depends on the scope of QI in your organisational strategy. Is it worth you having a quick chat with Tom, who leads that other SIG, to discuss whether merging’s a good idea? Perhaps even tweaking one of the SIG titles to reflect both would help.
