Andy here from Improvement Cymru, NHS Wales. 

I am looking for some volunteers for the pilot study of my MSc in Systems Thinking in Practice. The topic is ‘whole system approaches’ and the perspectives of improvement practitioners. I am double checking what I can offer to reimburse people for their time in terms of a voucher. Could you help me out?

• At least two years experience in service improvement
• Experience of working in a whole system approach
• Pilot study participants from anywhere but Wales (where my main study will take place – but please DM me if you can help in April )

If anybody could spare their time for a teams meeting to be interviewed (underpinned by a Systems Thinking methodology which I can tell you about after the interview) please DM me and we can arrange a time suitable for you. and I can send the consent form. 

These should last no longer than 90 minutes, including a comfort break. With your help I am hoping to streamline the questions to get that time down and generate some meaningful interviews.

For those of you in Wales, my ethics approval has gone through and I’ll be putting another call out after the pilot studies, but please do DM me if you can help in April.

Study results will be made available to all participants and the data gets destroyed around July 2025. 

I am also happy to share findings with the SIG if interested as my approach is very much intertwined with complexity science, systems thinking and improvement.
