Q online Visit: Huddlecraft

We learnt how to harness the power of peer to peer approaches to embed improvement, build community, and kick-start lasting culture change.

26 Apr 2023

Huddlecraft specialise in bringing peer groups together to create and consolidate change. No single person can solve a complex problem on their own. Peer to peer approaches, positive organisational culture and psychological safety are essential for tackling the steep learning curves we are on at an organisational, sector and societal level.

The success of peer to peer is at its heart relational and this directly contributes to the leadership and culture change necessary for quality improvement.

Post-Visit resources

  • A recording of the event (see below)
  • A pack of additional resources to help explore the topic and specific examples (also available to download as a plain text file). The pack includes a link to Huddlecraft’s slides from the Visit.

Why Huddlecraft

Huddlecraft (previously Enrol Yourself) is an organisation with over six years of experience bringing peer groups together to unearth and multiply potential. Huddlecraft knows what it takes to have lasting impact, and they are experts in using the power of peer groups to catalyse change. Their innovative approach has led them to do some fascinating and radical work in neighbourhood-based economics, climate change and health. Their approach is particularly interesting because of the focus on distributing power and responsibility, which increases accessibility and participation.

In March 2021, Huddlecraft partnered with the South West Leadership Academy to deliver a bespoke programme for NHS staff on the power of peer to peer approaches. This included training and designing a specific intervention that staff then implemented. We will share this case study, alongside others from other sectors at this Visit.
