Join us for an informative free online seminar on pharmacy and medicines management with Rafael Baptista from Powys Teaching Health Board, and colleagues from Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust.

We are delighted to invite staff from Powys and Sussex to talk about their innovations which led to them receiving a CHA Innovation and Best Practice Award this year:

Pharmacy Intervention Recording Tool

Rafael will talk about their Pharmacy Intervention Recording Tool (xPIRT). This was created to improve medicines optimisation, prescribing practice and outcomes. The tool supports accurate data entry and reflects clinical activity. This too supports patient safety and quality improvement.

Electronic Prescribing and Medicines Administration roll out and Careflow Medicines Management Integration

The Sussex project team will talk about their electronic prescribing and medicines administration system, which improves patient safety. The system empowers prescribers and pharmacists and is described as collaborative and inclusive.
