Associate Dean Research, School of Health Sciences, University of Dundee.
Co-lead Improvement and IMPlementation RESearch (IIMPRES) Group
Former Director of the Scottish Improvement Science Collaborating Centre (SISCC), a national improvement research collaboration.
Interests
My research is primarily focussed on applied health services research, improvement research, and implementation science, particularly related to enhancing the evidence base for improving the design and delivery of health services and improving population outcomes.
I work collaboratively with a wide range of people and agencies (including the Scottish government, NHS boards, improvement agencies, academics, the third sector, practitioners and service users) to develop the evidence base and to facilitate the mobilisation of knowledge and evidence into practice and policy

Novel, interactive, web-based platform, that makes it so easy to access screening appointments/results that all unwarranted variation in uptake and waste from unread letters, unused kits and appointments is eliminated.
