Hi Matthew,
Thanks for the connecting the dots with @dan-floyd!
We teach institutional dynamins on the pre-reg APH MA Art Psychotherapy and MA Music Therapy courses so I try to keep on top of these topics/systems change/organisational dynamics as much as I can. I am looking into trauma informed organisations at the moment as part of my doctoral…Read more

Hi again everyone!
Thanks for today’s meet-up to those who joined and especially to @guyperyer and @yvonnemorgan who guided us through TRIZ and facilitated an interesting, courageous conversations on what we must stop doing to make progress on the ambitions for palliative and end of life care.

Hi Kristin
I reflect back on when we first met on the Network Weaving learning series, the many conversations I have now had with people around networks and network leadership, and my own development as a network leader. As I reflect back on that time, I want to say I appreciate the wisdom you shared, the ongoing support you offered and the…Read more

Hi Lucinda, I’m not sure if Richard is in this group but maybe @joriamramos or @matthewmezey could forward this question to him?
From my own personal experience it really depends on the needs and preferences of the group (and the organisation of course) as there are SO many platforms out there. Often if it’s a temporary group (like a CoP meeting…Read more

Hey folks – we need some help!
Due to unforeseen circunstances, we have a hosting vacancy for our next Liberating Structures call (May 4th, Thursday). Of course me or Matthew can host something, but this is a space built for you to practice.
The people who benefit the most from those calls are the hosts – so we’d rather open the space for a…Read more

Robyn – Great to see this offer and perfect timing. I am meeting with @LyseEdwards @heather-stacey@JoriamRamos @matthewmezey to plan an extended LS meet up for how to use strings of LS to address your own challenge. We will hold it June 8 from 12pm – 2:30pm (UK time). It would be great to know what 5 structures you will be covering and let’s…Read more

Hello, that was a really interesting experience. I have been using TRIZ in an overall systems change way over the last 18 months using its principles. what I have found is people are not overly happy with the online experience of complex thinking, especially if it raises contradiction, uncertainty and confusion you end up in the Maurers process of…Read more
Hi @louisepatmore, there are lots of resistance to change models but I hadnt heard of Maurers 3 stages. I’ve had a good read this morning – thank you. https://rickmaurer.com/articles/resistance-to-change-why-it-matters/
Hi @mariadortheaskov thanks for sharing what you did together and the miro board. Triz is one of my favourite liberating Structures – probably because it was the first one I experienced and was completely wowed with the results. I find hard hitting questions like the one you used in the user group work best as participants become emotionally…Read more
I don’t just use it in the context of a session but as an overarching set of system change prerogatives to help understand how the system is working if you are threading, etc.
