I’m an experienced local government officer, having worked in two very different London Boroughs. I began my career in a variety of roles to promote accountability and transparency in decision making, notably through coordinating scrutiny committees of non-executive elected councillors. Until recently I was Head of Service for Hackney Council's Public Health function, working to reduce inequalities and address the social determinants of ill health.
