Scotland
Biography
I am currently providing external communications and engagement support to the Scottish Government's Technology Enabled Care Team. This includes supporting the scale-up of Near Me - the service which delivers video appointments. By May 2021 over one million video appointments have been delivered. To support the scale up a National Equality Impact Assessment (EQIA) was co-produced and a public engagement exercise carried out (June to August 2020) with over 5,400 responses.
More generally I am an engagement specialist with executive-level experience in delivering quality improvement, transformational, and cultural change across health and social care sectors. My experience includes the application of quality improvement methodologies and leading public consultations. I am an accredited LEAN Leader, Associate of the Consultation Institute, and co-author of "Three Horizons of Integrating Health and Social Care in Scotland" Published in Handbook of Integrated Care (pp 851-879), July 2021
