I am a Quality Improvement Manager at Swansea Bay University Health Board. I support and coach various teams and priorities in helping to deliver Quality Improvements and have a particular focus on measurement for improvement.
I started my career in the NHS in 2008 where I was part of an information team in Wakefield PCT and then West Yorkshire CSU and I became involved in supporting service improvements through this. I relocated to Swansea to work for ABMU Health Board in 2014, where I joined the Quality Improvement team leading on measurement.
Safe sitting of in-patients with pressure ulcers, to facilitate quicker rehabilitation, avoid deconditioning and reduce long-term, irreversible complications. Evidencing patient pathway support (hospital to community) and scalable empowerment package.
