Craig is Associate Director in the Office of the Chief Operating Officer for NHS Scotland at Scottish Government. He is a clinical and health psychologist. He has doctoral degrees in clinical psychology and psychological medicine, a Masters in Medical Law and Diploma of Legal Medicine.  He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh and of the British Psychological Society.  He is Honorary Professor with the College of Medical, Veterinary and Life Sciences at the University of Glasgow.  His interests are in improvement focused governance, leadership and strategic coherence within and across organisations.
