Improvement Collaborative Handbook

This handbook is your compass to successfully lead, plan, and implement an improvement collaborative.

The National Quality And Patient Safety Directorate, Health Service Executive Ireland are delighted to introduce the first edition of the Improvement Collaborative Handbook, the latest resource from our Quality and Patient Safety Improvement team, which we believe will be a valuable asset for all services in their endeavours to improve the safety and quality of healthcare.

The handbook has been designed to assist staff and teams in implementing Improvement Collaboratives within their service. Its versatility makes it applicable across all sectors of healthcare, both clinical and corporate, and it brings together the extensive experience of the National QPS Directorate and subject matter experts who have delivered Collaboratives for over a decade.
