Making improvement training more accessible to system partners

To raise awareness of our range of training to our system partners, enabling better access, and to consider the potential demand of an additional offer to meet need.

What is the challenge your project is going to address and how does it connect to the theme of 'How can we improve across system boundaries?

Making our system partners aware that our training offer is available to them. Understanding who our system partners are and recognising their methodology and processes and adapting and spreading our own to work alongside theirs. In doing so we hope to gain a better understanding of how we realise improvement benefits.

What does your project aim to achieve?

We would like to see an increase in the number of training sign ups from outside our immediate organisation. We have recently launched CPD days which sit alongside our gold level training and would like to make better use of these- understanding how they meet need by gathering user feedback and creating a targeted training offer. We would like to build a network of improvement advocates across system boundaries, creating a collaborative workspace or dashboard to better communicate with one another.

How will the project be delivered?

Continued development of existing training packages to incorporate different system approaches and methodologies to improvement. This is and will continue to be delivered in a mix of online and face-to-face. Promotion of this training and active engagement with system partners/stakeholders, to build on our relationships.

How is your project going to share learning?

Use of a repository (currently in development) to share training outputs such as posters and publications. Adding to the knowledge base by publishing and sharing lessons learned. Unifying commonalities across our system partners, understanding the transferability of what we can learn from each other. The sharing of that learning through the collaborative workspace described above.
