It is set to be an exciting and engaging event bringing together partners from across different sectors and parts of society in Wales. These include communities, NHS, local authorities, sport, education, housing emergency services, carers, young people, the third and private sectors.
The conference will cover the wide range of factors that impact on improving our public’s health – including:
• How we combine our efforts to support communities in meeting their needs and building resilience;
• The use of technology to optimize health and protect us from hazards;
• Improving health and well being by moving to a more prevention-based approach;
• How we continue to drive improvements in the quality and safety of the services we provide.
It will also explore how we can develop a healthy and sustainable Wales by exploiting the opportunities that come with the Well-being of Future Generations (Wales) Act.
Together, we will focus on how we can all unite in a purposeful way to create a sustainable, positive and healthy sustainable, positive and healthy Wales for our people.
