Using QI principles to test and deliver new models of delivering immunisations in primary care

Learn about two new and innovative models for vaccination delivery, including a drive through model and a hub based model which have been developed and tested in primary care during the Covid-19 pandemic. This is likely to be of interest to anyone who is involved in planning and preparation of the Covid-19 vaccination programme in primary care.

Farzana Hussain, GP of the year, will be sharing her story of developing a drive-through childhood immunisations clinic, which meant that children registered at her practice could continue to be safely vaccinated throughout the Covid-19 pandemic.

Rammya Mathew and Tamar Koch, QI leads at Islington GP Federation, will talk through how they have set up mass flu vaccination clinics where practices have worked together to vaccinate their patients in a collaborative effort which was supported by partners from across the integrated care system.
