Why Public Digital?
Digital transformation is the act of radically changing how organisations work, so that they can survive and thrive in the internet era and deliver services that better fit the needs of those they serve. Public Digital are a consultancy that have a track record of delivering world-class digital services; they built the UK Government Digital Service (GDS) which was ranked first in the UN digital government rankings in 2016 and have worked with NHS Providers and areas allied to health care such as the Co-op bereavement services.
What you’ll learn
We’ll hear from Public Digital’s Andrew Greenway, co-founder, and Anna Hirschfeld, product and agile delivery specialist, who will share case studies to illustrate the path to successful digital transformation, from writing strategy to developing teams at all levels, including board level. They’ll share what worked well and what didn’t, and how continuous improvement was pivotal to their successes.
What makes this a ‘prototype’ Q Visit?
Over the past year, we have been working with the creative organisation Storythings to reimagine Q Visits. We gathered thoughts and insights from Q community members to help form a fresh approach to our Visits; in this current exciting phase of this reimagining project we are testing different ways of doing Visits.
In this all-online Visit to Public Digital one of the new approaches we’re testing is inviting you into a group space on the Q website ahead of the event. In this space we’ll provide inspiring learning materials and prompts for reflection to help you prepare for the Visit and make the most of it. The group space is also a perfect place to pose questions and share challenges with other participants, who are also working on digital transformation. After the event you’ll be given more resources in the group space to help you continue to reflect, learn and connect with others beyond the Visit.
