Q members gained insight into the organisation’s Accelerating Delivery Performance approach (ADP). ADP is based on Lean-Six Sigma, visual Project Management, and is underpinned by organisational development principles. Members saw tangible examples of how this approach has delivered transformative improvement and engaged staff throughout this global organisation and beyond.
Members had the opportunity to speak with those leading improvements as well as those responsible for the design of the approach. It’s a unique opportunity to shift common paradigms about what makes for effective change management. Q members also took away a variety of tools, techniques and approaches, which can be immediately applied within their organisations.
Objectives:
• To understand GSK’s approach to improvement, how this was designed, and how it works in practice, with a view to learning how your organisation might approach change differently (avoiding pitfalls and learning from best practice).
• To understand GSK’s journey in developing ADP and to consider how this might relate to the development of approaches within your own organisation.
• To take away immediately applicable tools, techniques and approaches to meetings, project management and visual performance.
