The Q Initiative Evaluation Special Interest Group (SIG) is holding its second virtual meeting, open to all Q and non-Q members.

We are delighted to be joined by Martin Caunt, Programme Director of the Improvement Analytics Unit (IAU), who will be talking about the unit’s work to provide rapid, robust statistical evaluation to local health care organisations involved in improvement initiatives.

The IAU is a joint programme between the Health Foundation and NHS England that uses advanced statistical methods to identify whether a change initiative is likely to be behind any improvement in outcomes.

Martin will present and take questions on the approach taken by the IAU and the methods it employs, and provide illustrative examples of how it is supporting services and decision-makers to improve care and efficiency.
