Biography
I have been a Consultant for over 19 years undertaking roles such as College Tutor, Lead Clinician and Deputy Medical Director. I cannot ignore problems and proactively tackle challenges always seeking workable solutions. I designed our Trust's Acute Intervention Team, LocSSIPs and Learning from Excellence. I am the Trust's clinical lead for sustainability.
I am increasingly involved in healthcare environmental sustainability and have recently commenced work on an innovative IT platform which aims to solve many of the long-term challenges associated with finding and attending relevant CPD for all healthcare professionals.
Outside work, I have been married for almost a quarter of a century, have two teenagers, love mountain biking, scuba diving, river clearing, snowboarding and raising money for charities.
