Hi everyone,
There’s a Sustainability Champions WhatsApp group as a space to share ideas and challenges, celebrate successes, ask questions … if anyone’s interested in joining let me know here.
Wouldn’t it be awesome if there was a sustainability champion in every practice, on every ward?!

You might’ve missed the AHPs in QI sig’s recent Zoom about an inspiring ‘Community Appointment Day’ for an MSK service in Sussex: https://youtu.be/9bkz-0iRapg?si=Gjo4-1eNwkO6lwmS
A very novel community- and strengths-based approach, that also really cuts the waiting list!

Hi @dan-floyd
Looks like you and @blankahubena might share a similar in the systemic and psychodynamic understanding of organisations and change…?
I’ve got one book on this topic that’s been sitting on my bookshelf for years, unread. Have somehow felt a bit intimidated about getting into that gnarly topic! 😉

Hi Matthew,
Thanks for the connecting the dots with @dan-floyd!
We teach institutional dynamins on the pre-reg APH MA Art Psychotherapy and MA Music Therapy courses so I try to keep on top of these topics/systems change/organisational dynamics as much as I can. I am looking into trauma informed organisations at the moment as part of my doctoral…Read more

To be honest, I had thought the book I had was called something like The Unconscious at Work. But it seems it’s actually called ‘Narcissistic Process and Corporate Decay – The Theory of the Organization Ideal’, by Howards Schwartz!
It’s never seemed to be quite the right day for me to dive into that complicated topic! 😉

Thank you. I am a Nurse- but support AHPs as well as running the Professional Advocacy S.I.G which is open to AHPS/Midwives and Nurses.
I am a QI coach- and change champion. Very interested in connection and networking with others across multiple systems
Great to have you here- there’s no much more opportunity for impact and actually making change stick working across profession and systems.
What does a change champion do?
Completely agree! Change champion is aspect of my job. Where I impact change- whether this is QI or cultural change. Through role modeling and or education/developing others to do so.
Hi Jo and All, I am a therapeutic radiographer in quality lead. Love the diversity of this group and look forward to contribute, learn and grow.
Welcome to the AHPs in QI special interest group Isabel.
It’s only a few days since I saw you in one Q Zoom or other. Was it the QMS conversation between Tom and Jem, the Wales QMS visit, the Q Community quick networking? Can’t quite remember…
Yes Matthew and the QMS discussion is an interesting one, a very complex problem in healthcare. Even QMS itself is evolving and thinking how IMS and ISO7101 will continue to evolve and where to draw a line between these standards.
