I am a GP of 30 years experience, now freelance.

I was was Clinical Governance lead for Rugby PCT, undertaking National Clinical Governance Support Unit training and National Patient Agency training.  I had been a course organiser in Coventry on our local GP VTS scheme and cross fertilised my learning from these two areas.

I worked for a period for the Commission for health Improvement and have been appointed as a Care Quality Commission as a specialist adviser.

My wish is to see Quality improve in primary care and improved health for our population(s)

The challenge to do this as we move to larger organisations must be at the fore front of our learning and planning
