I qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2000 and throughout my career have developed a passion for person centered care and the importance of language in clinical practice.  I have been involved in a number of service transformations and quality improvement initiatives with the aim of improving outcomes, productivity and satisfaction.

Currently I work at the University of Lincoln as an Associate Professor, with responsibility for Leading the Practice Placement offer in the School of Health and Social Care.

I have a young family and a crazy dog, and in my spare time I am working to completed my Doctorate in Health Research
