I am a consultant obstetrician with an interest in co production and improving maternity experience. I have previously held positions of 'power' such as clinical director and divisional director as well as working at the London maternity clinical network however I am now just a normal day to day obstetrician with an interest in perinatal mental health and birth options. I continue to dabble in a range of other things including workshops with my friend Gill Phillips aka whose shoes, running a weekly podcast TheObsPod which tries to improve information for women and maternity staff on range of topics. In 2022 I was proud to give a TEDxNHS talk 'Birth should be special' which will hopefully be available on You Tube in the near future.

I am here because I have been nagged to join Q community for sometime and I am hoping to meet interesting and inspiring colleagues and to stimulate fresh ideas and energy.
