Hi all, hope you are well! At RCEM we quality assure our work using ISO9001, but we are looking to make this more rigorous. What systems do you all have in your colleges to quality assure your own work/processes? I remember RCPsych used to have an internal peer review where teams would look at other teams work to look for improvement opportunities.

Hi all, wanted to update you on a partnership I’m doing between the Royal College of Emergency Medicine and the University of Bath. We’re working together to link up clinicians, policy professionals and a psychologist researcher to improve the wellbeing of Emergency Department staff via policy changes. I’ll let you know how it goes!

Has anyone written a summary of the national data opt-out to support Trusts you work with? RCEM collects anonymised patient data for clinical audit and we are thinking about writing some info to support trusts that submit data to the audit.
