Biography

I support the development of Acute Prescribing Learning Network, Serial Prescription Toolkit, Anticipatory Care Planning, SPSP Dentistry and Medicines as a member of the Primary Care Improvement Portfolio (PCIP) in ihub. I am the HIS Global Citizenship Champion Lead and a committee member in the HIS Race and Ethnicity Network.

Prior to this, I was working in NHS Lothian as a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist and QI Facilitator. I'm a HCPC Registered Physiotherapist with a Masters in Science (Orthopaedic Medicine) and a Bachelor of Health Science (Physiotherapy). I started my career as a physiotherapist working in acute and primary care settings in Singapore and Scotland.

I have completed the IHI Open School's Basic Certificate in Quality and Safety Course, the NES Scottish Improvement Foundation Skills (SIFS) Cohort 2, the NES Scottish Improvement Leadership Programme (ScIL) Cohort 17 and Coaching for Managers Course. All these training built up my knowledge of improvement science and increased my confidence in coaching and mentoring staff.

My QI journey started as a QI Facilitator with the NHS Lothian QI Support Team working on Adverse Event Reviews, Primary Care and Acute Care.

Something about me: I love to bake!
