Has anyone delivered training/ learning solutions for leaders in creating psychological safety and conditions for improvement? I may need to do a workshop style session at the beginning of February and I’m wondering if anyone has slides, resources, session plans, etc that they would be willing to share? Thanks in advance, Emma

    • Perhaps convenors @stevenhams and @juliettekumar know of something? Or can point you to somebody else? 🙂

    • Hi @emmalittle – Tom Geraghty (who does the regular Psychological Safety newsletter) has lots of materials: https://psychsafety.co.uk/tool-kit/

@CuriousBecks (on Twitter) has been doing a lot with nurses/leaders and Psychological Safety, I think: curiousbecks.squarespace.com

There’s a chance that Q may be running a session – with someone who’s part of Prof Amy Edmondson’s team – to look at what resources would be most helpful to have for leaders and/or teams that want to grow their Psychological Safety.. (Fingers-crossed it happens!).

If you’ve spotted any good materials , can you share them here?

What might also be a lot of fun (as well as helping to change things!) would be to run a TRIZ session on Psychological Safety – where you start by looking at what you could do to ensure that no-one ever spoke up about anything! 😉

Then look for what your own org does that looks a bit like this worst-case scenario. And change it!

      • Thanks Matthew, I’m signed up to Tom’s newsletter, there’s lots in there that’s of interest to us. I’ll have a look at Curious Becks too. Unfortunately I’m out of time as the event is on Monday and I’ve lined up some internal and external speakers. We are also working with an external learning provider who is facilitating a session for Lean Leadership on psychological safety next Wednesday which should be good.
