        Hello. Apologies for the extremely late reply. A few years ago I went on an NHS Leadership course visit to Amsterdam and visited Buurtzog. I was struck by this method of organisation that had such strong core ethos and valued individual professional’s autonomy. As our own service has grown we have been re-thinking the ways in which we are organised. I haven’t worked out how the principles I observed in Amsterdam can be applied to my context but I have been thinking about it a lot! Hoping to learn and be inspired.

      Hi Annabelle, there are a few poeple in the group who are currenty working with Buurtzorg. Maybe we can pick this as a topic to focus on on one of our calls “how can I turn my observations/inspirations into things my organisation can implment”? I think there are potentially useful ideas and examples that are emerging in organsiations not linked to Buurtzorg too we could explore too.
