Defining and measuring good staff engagement in major change

Our new project on defining and measuring good staff engagement in major change is live! And we need your help to make it a success.

More than ever, we need staff involvement in major change. But how do we achieve this in a context of huge service and workforce pressures for health and care?

We’re taking an exciting new approach with our colleagues at THIS Institute and Thiscovery, to co-create a new measurement framework for improving staff engagement. We want leaders and others to use our new framework in their everyday work, but we need the help of the improvement community to make the project a success.

The first survey task opens today – and we want to hear your experiences and thoughts on what ‘good’ looks like to you! Later in the project, we’ll turn our co-produced definition of good staff engagement into usable measures that can help us navigate the challenges ahead. (More information is available on our Insight pages.)

Taking part is easy, register on Thiscovery’s site to take the first online survey. But hurry, the first task is open for just two weeks (7 to 18 November). And tell your colleagues about the project too!
