I’m currently assisting an NHS Trust to design and implement a QMS to the requirements of BS ISO 7101:2023. Although I have done this previously to the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001 this is a first for me in healthcare. Taking logical steps is important and testing each stage of the design in practice will save time later on in the project.…Read more

I’ve been meaning to ask you if this is something you would be interested in doing at my Trust as we are about to start the process from scratch. Guess i’ve missed that boat now?
Will you be chronicling the journey?
-
Hi Matt – your point about ‘chronicling the journey’ make me wonder who is currently out there who is taking a real ‘Working out Loud’ approach to their QMS journey: sharing next steps, asking for help with challanges etc in a public and connected way.
Have you spotted anyone?
-
Matt, send an email and we can arrange for a chat about your Trust. t.rose.1@bham.ac.uk

Matthew, will the current Q research contract into QMS in healthcare not provide some answers for your questions?

Is Amah Shah presenting something on QMS in the coming weeks? I have this in my mind and want to attend but I can’t find the information anywhere. Can’t remember where I read about this?

There is a QMS webinar on the 10th October. The registration page is on the NHS Impact page on NHS Futures. Let me know if you need the link, I’ll send when I’m back in the office
-
I don’t think that it’s been posted on this SIG.
-
My mistake it was on the NHS Impact website… link here: https://www.events.england.nhs.uk/events/nhs-impact-masterclass-quality-management-systems

Please have a look at my post re what constitutes a ‘Management System’. If your ‘Management System’ is not compliant then in my view, as a Quality Professional, then it’s not a Management System. Anything else just will not do the trick. Same as will not work.
