A non-clinician currently working as a Quality Improvement Manager across the six Staffordshire CCGs with a real passion for making improvements for local patients. Previous experience of urgent care commissioning, complaints management, patient experience and public involvement. Worked previously at an operational level in a provider setting as well as strategically across the county.
Recently completed the Quality, Service Improvement and Redesign (QSIR) Programme at Burton Hospital.
Main focus of the role is quality improvement and quality assurance at a corporate level - working with such things as Quality Impact Assessments (QIA), IAF and procurements of commissioned services.
Special interest in serious incidents, using complaints and patient feedback for improvements and meaningful engagement with patients / public.
