I qualified as a nurse in 1995 and started as a newly qualified staff nurse on a busy medical ward in the Middlesex Hospital in Central London and then worked in the community as a staff nurse. I moved back to Leicestershire in 1998 and worked in a community hospital before moving back into the community in 2002 as a staff nurse then a team lead. I have managed DN teams, intermediate care teams, evening community nurse teams and overnight community nursing service. I currently lead the transformation team within Community Health Services directorate of LPT and we support both large and small scale transformation and quality improvement.
