My background is critical care and community nursing, most recently I was a High Dependancy Unit Sister. I am currently a senior lecturer in adult nursing at Sheffield Hallam University. I am the Department lead for interprofessional education, with a strong interest in collaborative working (currently the subject of my masters research). I am also module leader for a large interprofessional module focusing on service improvement. This module is undertaken by almost 1000 students per cohort, all of whom are pre/post registration health or social care professionals. I am also very interested in simulation, human factors and patient safety. I like to explore ways to use technology to enhance learning. I am currently part of the team working to develop an integrated curriculum within our faculty of health and wellbeing. FHEA. NMC teacher status. Fab Change Ambassador.
