I work for Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust, East Kent Adult Clinical Services and I am an NHS Quality Service Improvement & Redesign Practitioner (QSIR P).  I am very new to quality improvement.  I have been in administrative posts working in the private, education and for the last 6 years with the NHS in adult clinical services. A  new challenge was calling and a secondment for Quality Improvement Coordinator came up, this was an ideal opportunity to dip my toe in the water, during the secondment I learnt the QI tools and resurrected my past work experiences and skills to compliment the role.  The post became permanent and this is now my current role - such joy in my work!

I am working with innovative staff members who are making a difference with their QI projects to positively impact our patients and this gives great satisfaction being part of this process and able to provide them with the tools in their journey.
