Most of my improvement work is focused on (1) projects that both benefit patient care and reduce expenditure in doing so by addressing the wastes in unnecessary care or treatment and (2) sustaining gains made by further innovation within the projects.

Interests and successful improvement projects include clinical process change, appropriate blood and blood component transfusion, identity band compliance, theatre specimen checking, tracheostomy safety, theatre utilisation Improvement.
