Hi, does anyone have any practical experience working with young people (18yrs) transitioning into adult services to get their input to designing a new service in an engaging way? looking for help with my Q Exchange bid. thanks

The way that I do co-design, is to start with a small experimental team. Take a person that needs help or support, and begin to understand their needs, and design around them. Learning and documenting as the team goes along. If you do this for several people, then the co-design team then begins to learn how to do it, and the characteristics that is required of the new design. It depends on the complexity and the difference between each person.

Hi that is great advice – I’ve been sent a link to a piece of work with a workshop design which is great – but I like your idea of working with someone individually first to test we have the right ideas and questions for the workshop
