Happy New Year everyone! (It’s still January!)

I hope you are all well? Any new year improvement resolutions ?

I  want to finish the MSc in Systems I have been working on. Which reminds me,  I will be putting a call out for improvement practitioner volunteers to interview  in the coming weeks regarding ‘whole system approaches’, so if I can bend your ear, drop me a message and I can follow up. 

Hopefully this year might give us an opportunity to come together and share some of our insights and improvement work in person.

We put the upcoming events in the newsletter and update you on any that are part of a series.

Epilepsy Action and Luke Fletcher MS would like to invite you to the Let’s Work Together event in Ty Hywel on 31 January 2024 from 18:00-21:00.

The event is for Senedd Members, clinicians and patients to come together to discuss epilepsy services in Wales, and the improvements needed to ensure that people with epilepsy in Wales get the treatment they need.

Epilepsy Action will be introducing the event with a presentation on our report on the provision of epilepsy services in Wales.

We will also hear from neurologists, epilepsy specialist nurses and patients about their experiences with epilepsy services in Wales, and the improvements needed to ensure that people with epilepsy in Wales are able to access the services and treatment they need.

Bydd Epilepsy Action yn cyflwyno’r digwyddiad gyda chyflwyniad ar ein hadroddiad ar adroddiad ar ddarparu gwasanaethau epilepsi yng Nghymru.

Byddwn hefyd yn clywed gan niwrolegwyr, nyrsys sy’n arbenigo mewn epilepsi a chleifion am eu profiadau gyda gwasanaethau epilepsi yng Nghymru, a’r gwelliannau sydd eu hangen i sicrhau bod pobl ag epilepsi yng Nghymru yn gallu cael gafael ar y gwasanaethau a’r driniaeth sydd eu hangen arnynt.
