Hello all,
I’m looking to connect with people who are responsible for running Communities of Practice in their organisation, and interested in joining regular meetings for peer support.
A bit about me – I work for the charity Macmillan Cancer Support, where I oversee how we engage with Macmillan Professionals across London and the South East. One of the ways we do this is through Communities of Practice and I am supporting 12 different COPs across the region – and the demand is growing! I’m looking for a peer group with which to discuss the challenges, exchange ideas and get support.
I’d like to know if any meetings already exists and if not, can it be arranged through this group?

Hi Lucinda, this group has been quiet for a little while which is probably why you didn’t get responses – sorry about that! However there might be a potential for this after today’s workshops on CoPs. Are you still looking? We could send out a call via the follow-up email from today’s workshops?

Thank you for replying. I’ve been put in touch with Katie Young from Q who is exploring how Q can support people who support COP leaders – like me and I’m sure others here. In the mean time I’m making a couple of connections through this group.
