Hi All – we’re trying to redesign how we support patients waiting for surgical care and introduce the concept of preoperative optimisation being part of personalised care prior to surgery. Very delighted and fortunate in being short-listed for a QExchange award to further this work. If you can, please take a look at the idea. This work is around delivering personalised perioperative optimisation through our patient portal and better communicating with our patients. Has anyone introduced a digital communication tool/app etc. to support patients who are waiting for care?
We’re still refining the project and we’re very happy to take suggestions about how it can be improved and whether you would like to collaborate. Thank you, in advance for your time.

I’m just recovering from surgery; I’ve had an interesting experience.
